Emi is a first year psychology major and track and field athlete in Uni. She's originally from San Antonio, Texas but moved when her parents divorced back when she was in middle school. She eventually met up with Chiara in her high school years and the two have been close friends ever since. She was always a goal driven individual and excels in athletics. She wants to do good for the world and help people in their time of need out of the goodness of her heart. She has a little brother that she adores. She was also childhood friends with Tomio growing up but due to family and personal circumstances, Emi distanced herself from Tomio for many years and lost contact with him when she had to move out of town with her mother and brother. Some people think Emi is kind of tomboyish due to her toughness but she has emotions as much as she prefers to hide them from people. Chiara helped her get into VR gaming over the summer and eventually, she got into Mil-Sim Story where she has proven herself to be a capable leader to her squad.
One of the most popular rifles in military use besides the AK platform, the M4A1 is an AR-15 style rifle with select fire capabilities. Early models were issued in the 90s and were designated as the M4. The M4A1 did away with the burst firing mode in favor of full-auto functionality. With a barrel length of 14.5", it's compact and modular making it a popular choice with militaries across the globe. Its tight tolerances and closed design makes it reliable in rough environments and its take down pivot method of field stripping is generally praised for it's ease of maintenance. A well tuned rifle that works in tandem with the AR-15's direct impingement system and carbine gas system offers a mild recoil impulse to the user but is nowhere near as soft shooting as mid-length or rifle-length gas system AR-15/M16
In Mil-Sim Story, The M4A1 is one of the most popular assault rifles for beginners and expert players alike. The 5.56 round offers a good balance of fire power and range for most combat situations and it's a rifle that's well suited for door kicking operators or rear echelon players who need something compact but more capable than a submachine gun. The M4A1 offers plenty of customization for players to swap out accessories, grips, stocks, optics, rear iron sights, buffer weights, bolt carriers charging handles, muzzle devices, triggers, and even after market accessories like Magpul "Bad Levers" or ambi safeties for those who are left handed. Being based off the AR-15 platform has it's perks for players of all skill levels.
Emi's M4A1 is fairly basic as far as modifications are concerned. Her M4A1 originally came with a removable carry handle sight, mil-spec buttsock, and plastic furniture. She opted in for back up iron sights along with a Aimpoint CompM4 red-dot optic with a LaRue Tactical riser to improve her accuracy. She swapped her standard handguard for a Knight's Armament Corporation RAS railed handguard which allows to mount various accessories like flashlights, lasers, and more specifically a Magpul Vertical Foregrip to help control the rifle when she fires in full-auto. She swapped her standard mil-spec buttstock and pistol grip for aftermarket magpul furniture which offers her more comfort than the standard polymer furniture. The internals of her carbine are all standard mil spec including the trigger, bolt carrier group, and carbine buffer. Her rifle contains an armadillo logo engraved on her rifle's bolt carrier. Her rifle can take any STANAG magazine in addition to polymer magazines like Mapul PMAGs.
The Beretta M9A3 is an evolution of the well respected Beretta 92 line which is considered a classic pistol in the military and law enforcement world since the mid 1970s. It's a single and double action pistol with a standard capacity of 15 rounds. The M9A3 was developed in 2014 and discontinued in 2021 for the M9A4, the pistol was submitted for the US military trials but was ultimately rejected in favor of the SIG M17/M18 (Which is a whole other story of drama, scandal, and controversies). Featuring PVD coated sand resistant magazines, improved ergonomics, and an improved safety to prevent the user from accidentally enabling the safety while operating the slide. Considered by Mil-Sim Story players to be one of the best of the Beretta pistols outside of competition guns, many players pick the M9A3 as their sidearm of choice despite it being heavier than most polymer handguns in the game. The pistol is customizable to an extent with some players mounting optics over slide cuts, compensators, as well as laser and flashlight modules. Emi's M9A3 features some of these attachments such as a barrel compensator to reduce recoil and Trijicon RMR optic for easy sighting. Her pistol is cerakoted in a factory flat-dark-earth color which is suitable camouflage for natural environments.
